I think that authority should be able to do what they need to do to keep society safe. I don’t think that they would just walk up and down the street with the drug detection dog and search people though. I believe that they would only seach them if they had suspicion and if in fact that they did walk up and down the streets of the cities or halls of a school and the dog detected something, I think that they would have every right to search. I say this because they are here to protect us and keep schools and cities clean. If you are dumb enough to walk around with illegal substances in public then I would say you are just waiting to get caught. You would probably get caught sooner or later any way. The court should not rule in Jardines favor because the cops already knew he was doing illegal things in his house. After the drug detection dog sniffed out the illegal things the police did get a search warrant. In my opinion Florida did have the better argument.
