Injury or Not?

November 4th, 2012

The Constitution requires Abigail Fisher to show that she was injured by the person she is suing. I believe that by denying Fisher’s application, the University of  Texas does sufficiently constitute as injury to Fisher. In addition, Fisher hurt her chances of being considered to be injured by enrolling at LSU and pursuing her undergraduate degree. Had she not been able to pursue her degree, she would have had a stronger case for injury inflicted by the University of Texas.
